Corporate Context is managed by Dr Helena Barton, a social anthropologist specialized in corporate responsibility/sustainability strategies, management systems and communication. She founded the company in New York in 2006 and set it up in Hong Kong in 2007. During 15 years of international consulting, she has worked with a variety of organisations, from multinationals to small companies, from mainstream to niche (Socially Responsible) investors, research institutes, government bodies, NGOs and human rights lawyers. She is a Member of the Stakeholder Council of the GRI and a former Member of the AccountAbility Standards Board. Formerly Global Manager of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Corporate Responsibility Services, she is a regular conference speaker, academic supervisor and guest lecturer. Helena is Danish and based in Cambridge, UK.
